Launched in 1942, HMS Trooper served valiantly in the Mediterranean, protecting vital routes and undertaking perilous missions. Lost to the deep in 1943, her final resting place remained a mystery for 81 years until her wreck was discovered in the Icarian Sea, finally bringing closure to the families of her 64 crew members.
